Wednesday August 29, 2001 2:51p.m.
As I'm sitting here infront of this public pc I'm thinking to myself, (damnit I want my computer and I want it now), but I'll have to wait for it to arrive next saturday, so untill then I'm forced to have to use this slow dinosaur of a pc untill then. On a lighter note all I have to say is I'M FINALLY HERE, AND IT ONLY TOOK ME 18 YEARS hehe. I made it safely up here, despite the fact that I was swindled out of $10. I made it to the buss terminal on time but the driver decided that he had to talk to someone for 15mins and in effect causing me and everyone else on their way to the transfer point to be late and causing us to have to wait in that damned terminal for 2 hours. But that wasn't the end of it, we hit rush hour traffic twice delaying us even more, in total turning a an eight hour trip into an eleven hour nightmare. But on the bus I did get to meet to very nice people and we talked for the second half of the trip, making it seem as though less time was used getting there. THe hotel room wasn'tbad though, I was also relived to find out that they had cable there so I could see my Mtv. I made it to the dorms around quarter to eight and met my roommate (I was kinda supprised that he was there b4 me, oh well). I was bale to unpack all of that crap in my bagS, all three of them. I'm kinda upset, I left all of my pictures of my friends in my room (that's what hapens when you are rushing to get out of the house) (and I'm also glad he's not like some freak of something, if he was then that would have been the end of it and he would have had to leave) he's actually kinda cool so no complaints here, (hey I wonder if I could hook him up with my friend Selena)and I also left my comforter, pillow, and Sailor Senshi tapes behind (I'm already asked my brother to make sure that they are mailed to me). I started classes on monday and I have to say that I'm very optomistic about this semester. I'm glad that I was able to talk to some of my friends again on the phone, and for some of those I wasn't able to reach via the phone I contacted them via e-mail. I need that computer soon though b/c I have to e-mail in my psychology H.W. assignments (not my choice) and the computers that this palce has is just so damn slow to log onto my e-mail account. The first week of lab was cancled so tuesday was a total free day, and thankfully all of my thursdays are free. I'm trying to get a job up here, hopefully on campus. I jsut sent in an application to work in the cafeteria (If I ever get the job there and my friends ever found out that I did they would laugh their asses off (everyone at my old school would find that funny and I have no intention of explaining why that is). Speaking of that place I'm definately going to visit during alumni day in January, I want to see (almost) everyone there. One person I hope I don't see is that cheerleader, my goodness she is such a bitch *probably caused by rabies* and I'm so glad that I could go there and not have to worry about that teacher (I'm still so freaking estatic that she quit). My cam won't be on untill I get my pc next saturday, but the good news is that with this new pc I'll have a new video card, enableing my to be able to play my voyager game. I also have this great idea for this Snake Bandage device (I'll elabrate more on that later for those that don't know what I'm talking about. Wow I've been tryping here fr about 20mins *mostly thinking* , my next class is at 7:30 so I have time to spear. The food here taste good but it doesn't agree with y stomach, hence why I've only been eating lunch *for those of you that kow me better you 1)probably think I'm lying, 2) a gasp has escaped your lips and you've fainted 3) you've had a heart attach from the shock 4) you're jaw should be on the floor at the moment.* I'm so glad that I've bought my destiny's child CD b/c I've been in the mood for some fast music ever since I've heard Dirty Pop, I've been playing both CD's almost non stop. On a sader note Aaliah died on monday in a tragic plane crash (it's speculated that the plane was too heavy with the luggage of 9 people *it's a small charter plane*) Let's bow our heads in a moment of silence *bows head* ok on a lighter note, it's that time of year again *or it's approaching it anyway* the VMA's anr just around the corner, so all of you vote for the on MTV.com for the viewer's choice award for NSYNC, and make this pure hearted person's *ok pretend as though I have a pure heart* dream come true. Nsync ahs worked their asses off and I think they deserve the recognition of the viewer's choice award *don't worry backstreet boys fans, they might win with enough simpathy votes since A.J. isn't a drunk anymore, I mean is now out of rehab and is with his friends and family again.
