| She was 15 and moved all the time. Lilly was the perfect student, always honor roll and acing all her tests. She was what you called a "perfect angel". She has many friends, she was in dance, she was in an after school math class to get extra education and she always behaved. One thing was that Lilly was lonely. Even with all her friends, her parents were always off on business so she was always left alone. It was Tuesday, and Lilly was in her least favorite class, science. Her evil science teacher was partnering up kids for the big semester project. Lilly's friend Ashley, was partnered with Lilly's other friend Sara. Lilly was now scared of whom she would be with. "Lilly Thomas and Lee Richards." The teacher announced aloud. Lee was the most popular guy at the school, and the cutest. Lilly became very nervous. She had liked Lee since 2nd grade and now in 9th she still admired him. When Lee heard that he was partnered with Lilly, he smiled to himself. He knew that being with Lilly was the best thing that could ever happen. He knew that Lilly liked him. So he would use this to get her to do all the work and get him an easy A. "I am so glad we got partnered together Lilly." He winked at her. Lee's girlfriend Heather became jealous, so after class she ran up to Lee, "Hey what was up in science class? Did I see you flirting with that goodie?" " I'm getting myself an easy A. No need to be jealous Heather." He kissed her. The next day, Lilly wore her favorite outfit, pink fuzzy tee shirt, her rose covered blue jeans, and her pink striped toe socks. She was going to be the best partner for Lee. She twirled around and around because she was so happy. "He likes me" she kept repeating gleefully. She ran down stairs and ate her breakfast. Hurriedly, she skipped out the door to school actually wanting to go to science class. The day seemed to slow for Lilly. Her friends knew something was up so at lunch they asked, "Alright Lilly, what's up?" Ashley got irritated. " What do you mean" Lilly was hardly listening. " You know what she means Lilly! You have been acting strange all day!" Sara added. " I just can't wait for science class!" The two friends looked the way Lilly was looking and saw Lee. "You STILL like him? Oh my gosh, Lilly he is a HUGE player. Don't like him too much. I don't wanna see you get hurt." Ashley became serious. Lee walked over. " Can't wait till science class. See you there Lil" He winked at her. " Did you see that? He winked at me!" Her head went of to la la land. " Do you think she will ever get over him Sara?" " Nope!" Sara and Ashley left her to dream. |
