A WORD ON SPIRITUALITY: What it means - To me, spirituality means being a good person. My moto is Truth, Honesty, Love and Compassion. If every person on Earth believed in this along with Communicatin and Understanding, there would be no room for hate. Truth - speak it exclusively. Honesty - in every aspect of your life. Love - with an open caring mind. Compassion - consideration for others. Communication - saying what you mean and meaning what you say. Understanding - this last one takes the most cognitive effort. To be able to comprehend another's point of view whether you agree or not. To be able to say, "That's an interesting perspective,.. this is what I think... and though our views differ,.. they are both interesting views."
And why do we hate each other because of our differences? Would we prefer our world in one shade of grey?
I am not saying that you have to believe in a God or a "Higher Place". But believe in yourself. You are who you want to be. Who do you want to be?

Having said that, I would like to give you the opportunity to experience the most creative genre of music at this time. If you like Hard Rock - Pop Rock - Heavy Metal - Thrash Metal - Punk - Rap - and have not listened to Christian Rock lately (if ever),... give it another try. Christian Rock is BETTER than alot of the mainstream music out there at this time, AND most of the lyrics aren't overly "righteous". They are great songs/recordings that don't have to explicitly mutilate the female body, curse at the World, and preach hate in order to Rock. Groups and Artists such as "Earthsuit", "Pillar", "Disciple", "Jars of Clay", and "John Reuben"...oh and of course "P.O.D.".... give them a listen, they rock and deserve to be heard. (And if they spread a little Spirituality along the way... so much the better). Looking for alternatives to the trashy lyrics your kids listen too? They will love this music and never know any different. Check out the M88 website for a parent's guide on what your child may like based on the current groups that they listen to.
Oh, and by the way, in case you didn't know, "U2" are Christians and are considered by many to play Christian Rock.
Check out CR Radio atM88 out of Albuquerque - with translators throughout New Mexico and Southern Colorado. MM88 is now heard as a "network" on radio stations throughout the Western US. As far North as Montana and as far West as Hawaii. !!!! :) It is heard in Boise, Salt Lake City, Seattle,...etc.... Check your dial around the 87-92 range for M88 Christian rock... Really,.. this station kicks!
