2nd Light World Castle:
East Palace
Getting in the Castle
Exit Sahasrahla's home, then go north up the ladder. The gray things come to life when you get near them; four swipes of the sword should take them out. Once up the ladder, go west, south, and then east past a gray thing. Here, jump off the ledge on the east side. Now go north up the ladder, up another, another, and another. Now enter the Palace.

Getting the Big Key and the Bow
Go straight north and open the door with the switch under the pot. Kill the sea anemones and step on another switch to open this door. In here, cannon balls come at you. The best thing to do is stay on the left when the ball is on the right, stay on the right when the ball is on the left, and jump in a gap between the barriers on the sides when the big cannon balls come. Once past the portal where the cannon balls come from, go west, south, up the ladder, then east to 122 rupees. Go back to the portal, climb the ladder, and go through the door. Go left and push the switch in the corner to open the door. In the next room, the door is on the west wall. In the following room, pick up the middle pot and four skeletons will pop up. Kill them to proceed. Get the Compass in the next room, then go through the door. Go straight east and east again, past the big chest, through another door. Go south and up the ladder. In the next room, go immediately right and step on the switch to open a door that you must quickly go through. Kill the skeletons in here and open the pots to get various useful items, including a key. Go back into the previous room and continue south and unlock and enter the next door you seee. Go through the cannon room again, then you will find yourself in the room with the Big Key. Kill all the enemies (stay well away from the sleeping cyclops until you are ready to kill him; throw a pot at his eye, and he should die. If that fails, you can use your sword). Once all the enemies are dead, step on the switch under the northern-most pot and unlock the chest to get the Big Key. Go north to exit the room. In the next room, push the east block north, then go north and east through the door. In the next room, open the big chest to get the Bow and run up the ladder north of you and through the door before the skulls can get you.

To the Boss
In here, kill the cyclops on the right to get a key, and the one on the left if he is pestering you overly much. You can shoot them in the eye with an Arrow. The door on the right holds some hard-to-win rupees, but you must go through the one on the left to proceed. In the next room, step on the switch under the bottom left pot and go through the door. In here, kill all the cyclops if you feel such a need, and step on the southern switch. READ BEFORE PROCEEDING: In the next room, you must hurry to the exact center of the room to avoid cannon balls. When the path is clear, step on the top switch to open the door. In the next room, kill the two skeletons and the red cyclops with two Arrows. In the last room before the boss, kill the baddies and stock up on Arrows; you will need at least eighteen for the battle with the boss.

The Boss of East Palace: The Armos Knights
These guys are pretty easy. Stay in the bottom left corner of the room until the knights form a line on the north wall. Shoot the one in front of you with three Arrows. Continue to do this until only one remains. The last one will turn red and try to jump on you. Keep moving and shoot him three times to be rewarded with a Heart Container, the Pendant of Courage, and Sahasrahla's respect.

The Pegasus Shoes
Go back to Sahasrahla's house and talk to him. He will give you the Pegasus Shoes. Practice with them by holding A for a short time and releasing it to bash into the crack on the north wall. Three tidbits of information follow:

One: you can use the Pegasus Shoes to perform a Dash Attack -- just plunge through your enemies.

Two: use a Dash Attack on bomb cracks shaped like doorways. This will save your Bomb supply.

Three: to find out if anything is behind a crack, tap it with your sword. If nothing is there, it will sound like a normal wall. If there is, it will make a "ting" noise.
