| Deku Tree 1. In the room with the Compass, watch out for the hanging Skulltula on the cut-out on the left. Climb inside (you'll have to raise the floor with the switch). 2. In the room with all the water (not the one with the spiky rolling pin, but the one with the torches), you'll find a Skulltula on the vines that lead up to the ground floor. 3. In the same room as the previous Skulltula, one is sitting on the bars on the wall. 4. You'll have to come back to the Deku Tree after you've defeated Dodongo's Cavern. Go into the room with the larvae of Ghoma in the ceiling and burn the web with the Deku Baba behind it. Bomb open the wall behind that. Kokiri Forest 5. Head to the back of the Know-It-All Brothers house. You can get it as a child or adult. 6. Look for a soft patch of soil; brandish a bottle of bugs. You can get it as a child or adult. 7. Use your Longshot to nail the one on the back of the Twins' House. Lost Woods 8. In the "room" of the forest with all the Deku Scrubs, you'll find a soft patch of dirt. You can get the Skulltula as a child or adult. 9. There's a soft patch of soil in the room with the bridge (turn left, then left again). You can get it as a child or adult, but watch out for the Skull Kid as an adult. 10. If you planted some beans as a child, you can now ride the plant to another Golden Skulltula. 11. Near the passageway with the giant Moblin (but before it), turn left and look up. Forest Temple 12. Climb the vines in the first room of the castle and, from the top of the tree, look at the wall. 13. There's one on the wall of the room with the four torches and the elevator. 14. Look on the wall in the first room with the well. 15. Hookshot to the treasure chest in the room with the well and drainage switch. The Skulltula is nearby. 16. In the room you rotate to get to the boss, you'll run across a Golden Skulltula if you push the room in circles long enough. Hyrule Field 17. Place a bomb near the base of the tree near Kakariko Village. 18. Use the Megaton Hammer on the boulder near the entrance to Gerudo Valley. Hyrule Castle Town Market 19. In the room next to the drawbridge with all the money, destroy the crates. Hyrule Castle 20. When you first enter the castle grounds, roll into the first tree you see. 21. Play the Song of Storms in the corner of the fence surrounding the castle with the tree. A secret grotto will be revealed. Ganon's Tower 22. Kill the Skulltula on the arch that crosses the road. Lon Lon Ranch 23. Look on the lit window. It is there when Link is a child and an adult. 24. Roll into the tree. You can do this as a child or adult. 25. Go to the back of the shed in the corral. You can do this as a child or adult. 26. In the room in the southern corner of the Ranch, you'll find a cow, Piece of Heart 8, and a Golden Skulltula. You can do this as a child or adult. Kakariko Village 27. In the graveyard, check the back of Dampe's house. You can get this one as a child or adult. 28. Look on the left side of the Skulltula House. You can get this one as a child or adult. 29. Roll into the tree near the entrance of the village. 30. There's a soft patch of soil in the Graveyard. Let the bugs loose into it. 31. Explore through the unfinished building. 32. Look on the right side of the house of the strange little boy who likes to hang out in the graveyard during the day (the house near the Death Mountain Trail). 33. Use your Fairy Slingshot on the Skulltula on the ladder of the watchtower. 34. Longshot up to the roof of Impa's house. Shadow Temple 35. In the room with the huge boat, play the Scarecrow's Song and use the Hookshot. 36. Look behind the rotating platform with the three huge skulls (left of the room with the invisible spikes in the floor). 37. In the huge room with the giant falling blades, Stalfoes, and invisible platforms, come to the part of the room where you have to fight the Stalfoe. After he is dead, put on your Hover Boots and run to the left (use your Lens of Truth to see an invisible platform). At the corner, turn left and go over another platform. You'll come to a door. In that room, you'll find silver rupees to collect to open a path to a Golden Skulltula. 38. Look on the wall in the room with the keese and invisible, spinning blades in the third basement. 39. In the room where you push the block to avoid the falling spikes, look in the rooms to the side. Death Mountain Trail 40. There is a strange part of the right-hand wall near the beginning of the trail. Bomb it open. This one is accessable as a child or adult. 41. Empty some bugs from a bottle into the patch of soil by the entrance to Dodongo's Cavern. You can get this one as a child or as an adult. 42. Look behind all boulders on the trail. 43. Go to the bomb flower look-out. Death Mountain Crater 44. Empty some bugs into the patch of soil by the warp point. You can get this one as a child or adult. 45. As you enter the Crater from near Biggoron's ledge, you'll find a crate to your left. You can reach this one as a child or as an adult. Goron City 46. A Skulltula hides on the back of the suspended ledge where the Goron Ruby used to be. You can shoot it from the side as a child or adult and can retrieve the token with the Boomerang or Hookshot. 47. Left of the entrance, you'll find a room with a bunch of boulders. Bomb them (or hit them with the Megaton Hammer) until you get to the back corner. Dodongo's Cavern 48. In the room with the bomb flowers and giant steps, climb up them then shoot the Golden Skulltula on the webbing opposite the door upstairs. Climb the netting to get the token. 49. After you have set off all the bomb flowers in the previous room, you'll find a Golden Skulltula in your reach if you walk around the raised section of the floor. 50. In the room with the Dodongo that pop out of the ground, bomb open the door to your right, destroy the Armos, then get the Skulltula hiding behind it. 51. Go into the Dodongo's head in the main room, and bomb open the different patch of wall in the room with the block and switch. You'll have another Armos to battle. 52. In the room with Golden Skulltula 49, play the Scarecrow's Song and hookshot up to him. Fire Temple 53. In the room with the long, wooden bridge, find the blue block and play the Song of Time. 54. Look behind the Like-Like in the room with the kamikaze tiles. 55. Listen for a Skulltula near the wall in the room with the boulders. Place a bomb on the floor. 56. In the boulder room, on the second level, play the Scarecrow's Song where Navi turns green and hookshot over. 57. Look at the walls in the room where you get the Megaton Hammer. Zora's River 58. Roll into the tree by the entrance to the River. You can do this as an adult or child. 59. On the ladder leading down from one of the paths near the entrance to Zora's Domain, you'll find another Skulltula. You can do this as an adult or a child. 60. On the wooden bridge, look around you at the walls. 61. On the ledge which (at one point, at least) has the Piece of Heart 24, look around for the Golden Skulltula. Zora's Domain 62. Look to the left when you are at the top of the frozen waterfall. Zora's Fountain 63. Roll into the tree on the patch of land. 64. There's a Golden Skulltula on the wall by the floating log -- you have to climb onto the log. 65. On the patch of land, use your Megaton Hammer on the boulder. Jabu-Jabu's Belly 66. Climb the vines on the wall in the room with the water (you'll have to raise the water level). 67. In the main room of the castle, drop through the hole on the right. You'll be near a Skulltula. 68. There is another Skulltula near the previous one. 69. In the room just before the boss' room, you'll find a Skulltula on the vines. Ice Cavern 70. Look on the wall in the sliding blocks room. 71. In the room with the Compass, use blue fire to melt the red ice hiding the Golden Skulltula. 72. In the room with the rotating blades, you'll see a Golden Skulltula high up on the wall. Lake Hylia 73. Look on the islands connected by bridges. You can get it as an adult or child. 74. There's a patch of soil by the Lakeside Laboratory. It is available as a child or adult. 75. There's a Skulltula on the back of the Lakeside Laboratory. 76. Use your Iron Boots on the bottom of the tank in the Lakeside Laboratory. 77. Look up at the huge tree by the warping point. Water Temple 78. In the room where you first meet Ruto, pass through the doorway (on the third floor) for a Skulltula. 79. In the room with the waterfall and the platforms that you have to ride as they drop, look to the right and use your Longshot. 80. In the room with the water-spiders and the boulders running through the water, you'll find a Golden Skulltula at the base of one of the waterfalls. 81. After you just got your Longshot, you'll have to go through some watery passageways with vortexes all over the place. Look on the wall by the third vortex. 82. Drain all the water out of the temple, then enter the central room (in the pillar in the middle of the main room). Use your Longshot to get to the top and get rid of the Skulltula there. Bottom of the Well 83. You'll hear the Skulltula sitting in the hidden alcove; use your Lens of Truth to find it. 84. There is a Skulltula on the wall in the room with the flying pots. 85. In the room with the Like-Like, get swallowed up twice to get inside the cage, where you can kill the Skulltula. Then kill the Like-Like to retrieve your shield. Gerudo Valley 86. Jump off the bridge and swim towards the waterfall. Climb the ladder you find. You can get this one as a child or as an adult. 87. From the top of the valley, look down at the river to see a ledge with a cow on it. Use a cucco to fly down to the ledge. Once there, empty some bugs into the patch of soil. 88. Look behind the carpenters' tent. 89. Look on the backside of the arch near the entrance to the Gerudo Fortress. It's up pretty high. Gerudo Fortress 90. There is a Skulltula on the wall to the right of the entrance. 91. Look on the targets in the Horseback Archery Range. Haunted Wasteland 92. Go inside the building where you find the Guide Poe on top. Desert Colossus 93. Empty some bugs into the soft patch of soil near the entrance to the Spirit Temple. After you've destroyed the Skulltula, go ahead and plant a bean to get another Skulltula as an adult. You can get the first Skulltula as a child or adult. 94. Ride the plant you planted on the previous one. 95. Look up at the palm tree. You'll need a Hookshot to retrieve the token. Spirit Temple 96. In the room with the grating and Keese (not long after the entrance), you'll find a Golden Skulltula on the grating. 97. You'll find a Skulltula in the room on the left (in the room that has a crawl-path and two doors) on the climbable wall. 98. After child Link's fight with the Iron Knuckle, he'll spot a Golden Skulltula over the doorway. 99. Climb the stairs on the left side (the child half) of the room with the huge statue; you'll find a ledge on the left where you should play the Scarecrow's Song. 100. Play the Song of Time in the room with all the boulders. |
| Link may wonder the purpose of the Golden Skulltula hidden all over Hyrule, but he will find out when he enters the Skulltula house in Kakariko Village. He finds a family cursed by the spiders to remain in their hideous form until the Skulltula have been destroyed.
