Issue One: April 1 (Now Available!)
Issue Two: June 1
Well. We did it.
We got Issue One off the ground. If you're reading this, 'Words On Paper' has hit the streets and we're already making plans for Issue Two. But what's most exciting about this project has been working with talented writers to put this together. JAKE would be nothing without its contributors, and we're very, very grateful. We're lucky to have such a great group of writers in this first issue.
On the right and left hand sides of this text you will see the names of our contributors, as well as this issue's interview. Clicking on these names will take you to that author's work.
If you came here because of the print version of JAKE, you'll also find the COWs and MAOs. Works marked "Continued On Website" are available in full here. Works marked "More Available Online" are available, as well as all-new pieces by the same authors that did not appear in the print magazine.
Can you believe your luck?
Don't forget, this is just one of three heads of the beast. The JAKE blog, which regularly posts updates, links to other zines in search of submissions, and writing tips, is available here.
The other third of JAKE, the print version, is still available by order. Ordering online does mean a small fee, but solely to cover postage. If you're interested, drop us a line here.
JAKE Magazine is currently working on Issue 2, and we want to publish another batch of new and talented writers. We will accept any genre in any style, from scripts to poetry, noir to romance, short stories to haiku. If you write it, we want to see it. For further details, visit the JAKE Magazine blog or e-mail us.
