The first basic sequence.

Please Note: This is a sequel to Waltz: Basic Sequence

Basic Sequence
1. Quarter Turn
2. Natural Pivot Turn
3. Reverse Pivot Turn
4. Under Arm Turn
5. Side Step

Pivot Turns in Pairs
Note all the movements are for the Man. The Lady’s movement is the counter part of Man’s.

Reverse Pivot Turn: Left Foot Forward (Man)

Start Position: Weight on the Left foot (Man)
0. Backward on the Right foot - Slow
1. Forward on the Left foot - Slow
2. Side with the Right foot. - Quick
3. Left foot closes in to the Right foot and takes weight on it. - Quick
4. Backward on to Right foot. - Quick
1. Forward on the Left Foot - Finish

The counter-part of Man's movement is for the Lady.
(same as Man's Part in: Reverse Pivot Turn: Right Foot Backward (Man))

Natural Pivot Turn: Right Foot Forward (Man)

Start Position: Weight on the Right foot (Man)
0. Backward on the Left foot - Slow
1. Forward on the Right foot - Slow
2. Side with the Left foot. - Quick
3. Right foot closes in to the Left foot and takes weight on it. - Quick
4. Backward on to Left foot. - Quick
1. Forward on the Right Foot - Finish

Natural Pivot Turn: Left Foot Backward (Man)

Start Position: Weight on the Left foot (Man)
0. Forward on the Right foot - Slow
1. Backward on the Left foot - Slow
2. Side with the Right foot. (feet are almost together) - Quick
3. Left foot closes in to the Left foot and takes weight on it. - Quick
4. Forward on to Right foot. - Quick
1. Backward on the Leftt Foot - Finish
