| I am Jaheer Basha.C, doing B.Tech in Automobile engineering at Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University, Chennai.Our institute has the pride of having produced Alumni like Dr.APJ Abdul Kalaam. The royal Automobile engineering Department has been offering royal subjects and ideas since 1949. My native is salem, in Tamilnadu state, India.I was born on March 24, 1984 at 7.45 A.M .I was brought up at Thannithotti near Ammapet in Salem. My respectable father is Mr.G.Chan Basha and lovable mother is Mrs C.Huban Kasheera Banu and friendly elder brother is Mr C.Umar Faruk Basha. Salem is surrounded by mountains on all sides.There is abundant rainfall and water availability.The temperature is also moderate as Cauvery river furnishes it. We are living in a house surmounded with nice atmosphere at Gorimedu, Salem.There are farms, wide vareities of trees, bushes, herbs, which make the atmosphere calm, green, clean and peace.As there is no vehicle disturbance,the place is very calm measuring about 20 decibels.There is a stream running about 100 metres from our house.The stream starts its origin from yercaud and kodagu hills.On one side of the stream,the area is urban.On the other side ,the area is pure rural one. Farms containing Barley, Maize, Sugarcane, Palm, Potatoes, jasmine, herbs and many other plants are cultivated here. As salem is the city of moderate temperature, high rainfall and rich vegetation, they poses righly on our location. The Sherveroy hills at Yercaud is one of the major summer resorts and national tourist destination in India and it is located at about 4 kms from our house.Salem is surrounded by hills on its circumference ,there is less possibility of natural diaasters.Thank God!!!. The steel city is famous for its mangoes.The raw materials for Central steel plant, Salem is bauxite which is abundant in Yercaud Sherveroy hills. After 500 years, there may be no hill with a height of 2500 metres from the sea level named Yercaud.!!! |
