I began making knives in fall of 2004. Since then, I have grown to enjoy this craft more and more. You may be wondering why my business name is JAG. This was developed by a friend when he heard my forum alias. I am known as jaegar on forums, meaning hunter in german. He added ganadero on meaning rancher in spanish. This shows both the hunting and tough work aspect of my knives.

Previously I have done work in leather, so my leather sheaths have experience behind them. I plan to expand my shop in the future using profits from knifemaking to pay for equipment. As I save for college, I am building knifemaking to become a profitable business. Currently I do landscaping as my job, but knifemaking will soon join it.
