In this section, we will discuss what the Shinigami Academy is all about. We will attempt to lay down an outline of how we plan to run things, what's expected of students and faculty, etc. Below, you'll find a brief overview of what to expect for each year at the Academy, from the day you enter to the day you graduate.
Special Note: One IC year is equal to 3 real months.
The first year will be spent being trained how to properly communicate and interact with the various people and equipment. You'll learn how to carry yourself with respect when interacting with others, espescially seniors and instructors.
In the second year of your Academy life, you'll be taught the basics to zanjutsu, hand-to-hand combat, and kidou. Students will participate in hands-on exercises with instructors and other students, as well as the ocassional special guest. It is in this second year that all students will receive their asauchi for training and practice.
Third year at the Shinigami Academy is arguably one of the most important years for a student. In their third year, students will continue to develop their strengths, whether that is zanjutsu, hand-to-hand, or kidou. In the third year, students will put into classes depending on their strength of the three to better develop those strengths. Additional classes will also be held regarding world history (including Shinigami history), and various other classes that one might expect to find in a school. They will be placed into temporary squads, which will last the entire year, to make periodic trips to the real world to further their training. Each squad will be led by a fith year student.
Fourth year students will be trained to enhance on one of the two remaining fighting styles that they currently lack in.
