CONCEPTS

BASICS:
  • The eyes look straight ahead, the limbs and body are relaxed.
  • The mouth is closed, the tounge touches the roof of the mouth.
  • The entire soles of the feet grip the ground,
    The middle of the sole of the foot, roots beneath the ground.
    The "bubbling springs point" or yongquan cavity, Kidney 1, located between the mounts of the big, and second toe, on the sole of the foot; is contracted inward.
  • The fingers are stretched and opened.
  • Relax the shoulders and empty the chest, press the head upward and straighten the back of the neck.
  • Exhale smoothly, delicately, even slow and long.
  • At the top of the circle, begin to to exhale,
    at the bottom, begin to inhale.
  • The elbows push the palms and hands.
Six Harmonies:
  1. the hands harmonize with the heart
  2. the shoulders harmonize with the hips
  3. the elbows harmonize with the knees
  4. the heart harmonizes with the intent
  5. the intent harmonizes with the qi(chi)
  6. the qi harmonizes with the power.
