My name is John Jorgensen. Thank you for checking out my website. My wife, Audrie, of 37 years and I are happy to introduce this new CD to you. It has literally been in the making for over 20 years. There have been victories and some failures over the years and through them these songs came to be. All of these songs came out of experiences during our lives as we ministered and pastored in various places. From Alaska to Florida we have been privileged to share in this adventure with so many wonderful people.
I was born and raised in a farming community in rural Michigan. Even at a young age I loved music and began singing songs that I would make up. We couldn’t afford piano lessons but I had the ability to pick out songs by ear. Soon I could play many songs by ear and still due to this day. I met my wife in high school and we became high school sweethearts. We were married after we graduated and within a year were blessed with our first of four children. At the age of 20 I received Jesus Christ as my Savior and soon after went to Bible college for 3 years, then into full time ministry. I have pastored in Michigan, Alaska, Florida and Washington. During these years music and songs became expressions of worship, prayers or just crying out to the Lord because of trials or situations I was going through. For the past 16 years we have been a part of Multnomah Bible College & Seminary. We are also ministering with Retirement Outreach Chapel, a church strictly involved with the retired community.
