The year is After Colony 195. The space colonies are ruled by the opressive Earth Sphere
Alliance. In a counter-attack, the colonies launch Operation Meteor. Five Gundams, giant robots,
or "mobile suits" made of Gundanium alloy, are sent to Earth, along with their pilots. They are sent
with only one mission: to destroy the military organisation known as Oz. Oz is seen as the cause
of the opression and hardship endured by the colonies, as Oz provides the Alliance with the mobile
suits which constitute the military backbone of the Earth Sphere. All the hopes and dreams of
the colonies rest on these five warriors, and their Gundams. Each pilot is sent alone. They have no knowledge of each other, as there has been no communication between the colonies for 15 years. They are just as likely to destroy each other as they are to destroy Oz. In the ensuing mayhem, can the Gundam pilots unite in their battle against Oz, or will they perish along with the last hope of the colonies. |
