Rejection
Many years had past from that night when Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy had woken up to their baby screaming. But Draco Malfoy was no longer a baby, in fact, he was nearing his eleventh birthday when he received his letter from Hogwarts.
He wrote back to the school, and on the last day of July, his birthday, he went with his father and mother to get his school supplies.
While Draco was getting his robes, however, a black haired boy entered the shop and Draco's forehead started to tingle. Besides the tingling, Draco had the feeling that he knew him. Choosing to ignore the tingling, Draco tried to start a conversation with the boy, and figure out how he was. But the boy wouldn't answer any of his questions.
Finally, when Draco was reaching a point of desperateness, he spotted a giant of a man and pointed him out to the boy. To Draco's delight, the boy seemed interested in the large man and Draco finally learned something about the stranger.
"His parents are dead??" Draco thought in horror, the tingling on his forehead was getting worse, "who is this boy anyway?"
But when he asked, the boy practically ran out of the shop. To Draco's astonishment, when the boy left, so did the feeling in his forehead.
Suddenly the door burst open again, but this time it was Draco's father. He paid the witch who was helping his son, before yanking the boy out of the shop, and down to the wand shop.
Draco had been eager to enter this shop, though he hadn't ever told anyone, never mind his father. Mr. Ollivander seemed nice enough when Draco had entered the shop- but when Luicus entered behind him, the man's face hardened.
"Ah..." he said quietly, "the Malfoys."
"I'm not paying you for small talk," Luicus snapped, "just get my son a wand and get it over with!"
About twenty wands later, Draco was holding a wand that was warming to the touch.
"Eleven inches," Ollivander repeated, taking back the wand and wraping it, "Mahogony, Pheonix Feather. A very good combination, unusual- but good none the less. Good results with that wand, you will get with that wand Mr. Malfoy."
Draco nodded his head in thanks to the man and hurried after his father. They finished their shopping and went back home. Once there, Luicus pulled out a book he had boughten, and disappeared into his study- leaving Draco to wonder once again about the green eyed boy, and how he might know him.
