| Hati- Known as watch dog of the dead. Hati was a werewolf looking figure. he is stationed at the gates of Hel. he is son of Fenrir. Hel- Underworld guarded by the Goddess Hel, or Hella, which was offspring of Loki. Hnitbjorg- Mountain home of the Giant Sattung, this is where he hid the mead of poetry made of Kvasir's blood. Huginn- One of Odins Ravens, it was said to be a messenger. Iarn-Greiper- The glove, or gauntlet Thor used to hold his magical hammer Mjollnir. The hammer was said to be of such heat, Thor needed this magical glove in order for Thor to hold the hammer without harming or burning his hand. Idawold- Palace of the Gods. Asgard is located on this plain of Idawold. Also location of Odins Palace and Vingolf, the palace of the goddess Gladsheim is located in Idawold. Iving- The river that never freezes, it divides Asgard and Jotunheim. Jotun-heim- The snowy land of giants. Its major city was Utgard. Kerlaung- Rivers of the dead. Crossed by the bridge Bifrost. Thor must swim or walk this river in order to cross. His size wouldn't fit the bridge. Lyngui- Island on the lake Amsuartnir. Where Fenrir the wolf awaits Ragnarok. |
| Megin-Gord- Thor's magical belt. It was said to double his strength, he wore this belt. Midgard- The earth and adobe of man. It is one of the 9 worlds in Norse Mythology. Midgard meaning middle abode, or middle earth. Its half way between Nifl-Heim, and Muspells-Heim. Jormungandr is also known as Midgard serpant, he encircles this whole earth. Mjollnir- Magical hammer of Thor. Regardless of his distance, the hammer always returns to the hand of Thor. The hammer was so red hot,Thor needs to wear the a magical glove, or gauntlet Iarn-Greiper to hold it. Munnin&Huginn- Birds of Odins, or Ravens of Odins. information gathers. They perch on Odins shoulders at night and due morning, explore the earth, return back at night to reperch on Odins shoulders and inform him of any news, or any information he should be aware of. Muspells-Heim- The world of elemental fire. Located in the southern section of the primeval abyss known as Ginnunga-gap. Muspells-Heim have rivers that spawn from them. Some flowed by waters of bitter poison. Muspells is guarded by flame Giant Surtr. |
| Nastrond- Underground, in this section of Hel, the dragon Hidhod gnaws on the corpses of evil doers. Nifl-Heim- The world of mist and Ice, darkness. The goddess Hel became the queen of Nifl-Heim where yggdrasil or the tree of life has its roots. Its known to be the lowest of the 9 worlds and the adobe of those whom died of old age and disease. Nixie- Lesser water divinities, from Kind, gentle male water spirits. They appear with fist tails Noaton- The dwelling place of Njord in Asgard. Odraerir- One of the vessels of Magical mead. In one of his many journies Odin found the vessels and drank all. Drinking this made him the greatest poet and singer of all. Oegishailm- Worn by Fafnir. Its said to be the Magical Helmet of Darkness. Okolner- Home of the deity's. A home named Brimer in Okolner is where the giants will gather after Ragnarok. Ormet- A River. The dead must cross this river to get to Hel. |
