To succeed in the world of work it is very important that you demonstrate good communication skills and show that you can communicate with a range of different audiences, such as technical as well as non-technical staff.

In this unit you will learn some of the techniques that will help you to become a successful communicator. You will learn various methods of communication and have the chance to show that you can use a range of IT tools confidently to support communication.

You will be assessed through coursework which could be in the form of: • Presentations • Videos • Witness statements and evidence log • Role play • Web pages • User guides • Proofs (before and after versions of documents) • Blogs.
