FORMULA ARCOBALENO: DIVENTARE LEADERS TRA LE FORMULE PROMOZIONALI
The Formula Arcobaleno is a series for young pilots with a karting background, born in the 1997 from the will of Davide Pavia, a brilliant inventor and former pilot, and engineered by Renzo Bava. The leading idea was to create a new, cost-effective series, able to help young drivers in building driving experience, before entering in more difficult and expensive championships, like Formula 3. The car has a steel (25CrMo4) tubes spaceframe chassis and is powered by a Yamaha YZF 1000 engine, which provides 148 bhp @ 10000 rpm. Considering the 370 Kg weight, this car has a weight/power ratio really near to the typical Formula 3 one. The gearbox is a five-speed sequential and both the rear and the front wing are adjustable.
La Formula Arcobaleno � una serie per giovani piloti con background kartistico, nata nel 1997 dalla volont� di Davide Pavia, brillante inventore ed ex-pilota, ed ingegnerizzata da Renzo Bava. L'idea guida era di creare una nuova ed economica serie, in grado di formare i giovani piloti, prima che si impegnino in campionati pi� difficili e costosi, come la Formula 3. La vettura ha un telaio tubolare in acciaio al Cromo-Molibdeno ed � mossa da un motore Yamaha YZF 1000, il quale sviluppa 148 CV a 10000 giri. Considerato il peso, contenuto in 370 Kg, questa vettura ha un rapporto peso/potenza vicino a quello tipico di una Formula 3. Il cambio � un sequenziale a cinque marce, ed entrambe le ali, anteriore e posteriore, sono regolabili.
Thanks to his cost-effective formula, this series has quickly imposed itself out of Italian bounds and his growth continues still now. The 2001 will see Formula Arcobaleno Championships in: Italy, Nederland, Switzerland, France, Canada, S. Domingo, and probably some more countries. In a few years this series is becomed a new standard in the world, and Arcobaleno Cars have the chance to become one of the World Leaders in race cars manifacturing. Grazie alle suo buon rapporto costi-benefici, questa serie si � rapidamente imposta al di fuori dei patrii confini e la sua crescita continua tuttora. Il 2001 vedr� campionati di Formula Arcobaleno in: Italia, Olanda, Svizzera, Francia, Canada, S. Domingo, e probabilmente alcune altre nazioni. In pochi anni questa serie � diventata un nuovo standard nel mondo, e la Arcobaleno Cars ha la possibilit� di diventare uno dei leader mondiali nella costruzione di auto da competizione.
