Impressive! This is the first sensation when you look to the styling of the new Dallara-Chrysler LMP, in the new ORECA livery. Such a seductive bodywork is the result of an original development of the internal-downforce concept exploited in various 2000 side-radiators cars. Another distinctive elements of the car are the Formula 3-looking air-intakes, and someone says that is natural for the manufacturer who dominates the Formula 3 world market. The rear wing is in the top position so the single narrow roll-hoop will not influence the airflow very much. Anyway seems that the roll-hoop is designed to be completed in order to compose a full version as happens in the Cadillac Northstar Turbo.

Fa Colpo! La nuova Dallara-Chrysler LMP, nella nuova livrea del team ORECA, colpisce al primo sguardo. Una carrozzeria cos� seducente � il risultato di un originale interpretazione del concetto di downforce interna, sfruttato su varie auto del 2000 a radiatori laterali. Un altro elemento distintivo sono i due cassoncini d'aspirazione in stile Formula 3, e qualcuno dice che � normale per il costruttore che domina il mercato mondiale della Formula 3. L'alettone posteriore si trova alla massima altezza possibile, quindi verosimilmente lo stretto roll-bar singolo non sporcher� il flusso dell'aria in modo significativo. In ogni caso sembra che il roll-bar sia progettato per essere completato in modo da comporre un roll-bar doppio come sulla Cadillac Northstar Turbo.

The path toward Le Mans will start with the Sebring 12 Hours (17th March) and will continue with the Donington and Jarama ELMS races (14th April and 20th May). There will be also many private tests (about every two weeks).
