THE FIRST RACING FERRARI 550 MILLENNIO ENTERED IN THE SUZUKA 1000 KM
LA FERRARI 550 MILLENNIO DELLA FIRST RACING ISCRITTA ALLA 1000 KM DI SUZUKA
Sunday 27th of August will take place three international endurance races: the Watkins Glen 6h, a Grand-Am race (where the Risi Competizione Ferrari 333 Sp will chase the first victory of the year); the Donington round of the SRWC (with involved a crowd of Ferraris, GMS, Lucchinis, Tampollis, Picchios, all struggling for the win of the respective class) and, last but not the least the Suzuka 1000 KM. The Suzuka race will see at the start, apart of the NSXs, Supras and Skylines of the local GT Championship, some of the most representative teams of the FIA GT World Championship, as the official race flyer shows. From Europe are arriving the works Marcos Mantara, two Freisinger Porsche 911 GT2, a Chamberlain Viper, the pilots championship leading Lister Storm and the First Racing Ferrari 550 Millennio. The target of this teams is the victory of the International GT class, while the overall victory will almost certainly go to one of the most powerful local entries. The Ferrari 550 Millennio, which no bomb-proof reliability has not allowed the car to finish races shorter than this, will have a three pilots line-up composed by the confirmed Giroix-Deletraz and by the local Kimoto.
Domenica 27 Agosto si correranno tre gare di durata internazionali: la 6 ore di Watkins Glen, gara del Campionato Grand-Am (nella quale la Ferrari 333 Sp della Risi Competizione inseguir� la prima vittoria stagionale); la gara di Donington della SRWC (con impegnate svariate Ferrari, GMS, Lucchini, Tampolli, Picchio, tutte in lotta per la vittoria della rispettiva classe) e, ultima ma non meno importante la 1000 KM di Suzuka. Quest'ultima gara vedr� alla partenza, oltre alle NSX, Supra e Skyline del locale campionato GT, alcuni dei pi� rappresentativi teams del mondiale GT FIA come mostra il flyer ufficiale della gara. Dall'Europa arriveranno la Marcos ufficiale, le due Porsche 911 GT2 Freisinger, una Viper Chamberlain, la Lister Storm in testa al Mondiale Piloti, e la Ferrari 550 Millennio della First Racing. L'obiettivo di questi teams � la vittoria della classe International GT, mentre la vittoria assoluta andr� quasi certamente a una delle pi� potenti vetture del campionato giapponese. La Ferrari 550 Millennio, la cui affidabilit� non a prova di bomba non le ha permesso di terminare finora gare pi� brevi di questa, avr� un equipaggio composto da tre piloti, i confermati Giroix-Deletraz pi� il locale Kimoto.
The Suzuka 1000 Km will see at the start three more Italian GT cars:
- the Yellow Magic Ferrari F355, enteredd in the International GT class (the same of the Ferrari 550 Millennio);
- the J-LOC Lamborghini Diablo (see the photo above), usually involved in the All Japan GT Championship, entered in the top GT500 class (the top class of the All Japan GT Championship);
- the GAINER TEAM Ferrari F355 (see the photo below), entered in the GT300 class.

La 1000 KM di Suzuka vedr� al via altre tre GT italiane:
- la Ferrari F355 della Yellow Magic, isscritta nella classe International GT (la stessa della Ferrari 550 Millennio);
- la Lamborghini Diablo della J-LOC (veddi foto sopra), normalmente impegnata nel All Japan GT Championship, iscritta nella classe top GT500 (la classe superiore del All Japan GT Championship);
- la Ferrari F355 del GAINER TEAM (vedi foto sotto), iscritta nella classe GT300.
