Chapter Five: Jess' writing is in black and Hannah's writing is in white. Enjoy!

Actually, in the end it took 15. Hannah had to catch a speed monorail over to the left side of Mars. She would have tried to save the environment by walking, but she was on Mars, so what was the point? Also, it was 200 miles from the right side to the left, and she wasn't walking that.
Anyway, she found the monorail within minutes and bought a ticket, but Hannah has an obsession with monorails and so a repeat performance of a time in Sydney, Australia, occurred where she circled the track 5 times.
She hopped off the super-fast monorail and found Jess's room, knocking on the door.
There was no answer, and even after a second knock there wasn't a noise. Hannah finally gave up and tried the door – it was unlocked. She walked in to find Jess nibbling on one of Sushi-Sean's legs.
“You're lucky we didn't bring Sean to Mars.” Hannah noted.
“'We'? 'WE'?!” Jess said, chewing. “There was no 'we'! YOU let him run off!”
“Hmm…” Hannah looked at the sushi and felt a bit sick.

“Sushi?” Jess offered.
“Erm…no thanks.” Hannah sidestepped the pile of rice and fish. “Anyway…you said something about Silverchair CDs?”
“Oh, yeah. Come through.” Jess led Hannah through the short hallway and into a room about the same size as her own. There was a huge four poster bed in one corner, whilst the walls were completely lined with huge shelves which reached up to the ceiling, stacked with books (and the occasional X-Men comic).
Hannah spotted Billy and Dom racing each other on the sliding ladders that provided access to the higher shelves and Keanu sitting on the bed.
“What's HE doing here?” She exclaimed.
“Oh, nothing. I just invited everyone over.” Jess said, innocently. Hannah looked at her with suspicion and clung to one of Keanu's legs just to be sure.
“Hmm.”
Suddenly there was a knock on the door.
“Hang on.” Jess ran to get it and returned with Tim, now dressed in a pair of baggy jeans and a t-shirt. “Yours?” She asked Hannah.
“Oh, yeah.” Hannah smacked a hand to her head. “Silly me.”
“G'day, mate!” Tim said, holding out a hand to Jess. “I'm Tim.”
“Oh,” Jess shook his hand. “He's nicely trained, Hannah; well done.”
“All my own work.” Hannah lied, proudly.
“So…what's the right side like?”
“Same as the left side.” Hannah answered, looking around. There was the sound of a doorbell and Hannah looked around at everyone else who were ignoring the sound in interest of Billy who had managed to get himself stuck inbetween the top of the ladder and the top shelf, hanging by his jumper. “I'll get it…” Hannah walked out of Jess's bedroom and back down the hallway.
She opened the front door to see a middle-aged man with short curly brown hair in a black and white suit with a white bowtie.
“Hello?” Hannah greeted, curiously.
“Hello madam! You ordered a butler?”
“No…I didn't…” Hannah answered.
The man looked shocked and looked at a piece of paper he was holding that had '16' and 'Jess' written on it. He turned it upside down. “Maybe it was Room 91…” He said quietly to himself.
“No…you're right! It's this place…”
“Nice to meet you, Jess!” The man extended his arm to greet Hannah.
“No…I'll go and get Jess!” Hannah ran back up the corridor. “Oh, by the way, what's your name?” She stopped at the top and waited looking inquisitive.

“Chris,” He replied.
“Cool.” Hannah disappeared for a second, then Chris heard Jess's voice scream:
WHAT?!” In an excited tone before little footsteps getting louder pattered down the corridor.
The door flew open.
“Jess…?” Chris asked, hopefully.
“OMIGOD!” Jess squeaked. Chris decided to take this as a 'yes' and extended a hand again.
“I'm your butler.”
“You're not a butler! You're Chris Barrie! You're an ACTOR!”
Chris looked uncomfortable.
“Yes, well, acting isn't the best paid profession in the world.”
“Come in!” Jess held the door open for him and amused herself by the irony of holding open a door for a butler.
“Would you like a cup of tea?” Jess asked.
“Uhh…” Chris was slightly stumped. He should be making the tea - he was the butler here. “It's ok, sit down and rest Jess, I'll get you some tea.”
“No, it's ok! I know where everything is.” Jess said.
“Yes, but I should know – kitchens are all very self-explanatory.”
“No, please! Let me!” Jess insisted.
“Jess! Who's the butler here!?” Chris raised his voice slightly.
“Who's the Master here?!” Jess shouted back.
“It's my job!!”
“Sit down and shut up!” Jess pushed Chris down onto a chair and put a 20 pound note in his hand. “Now how do you take your tea?”

“White, two sugars,” Chris replied, sulkily.
“Right.” Jess stomped off to make the tea.
So…” Hannah started, trying to make conversation. “You're the President of the World's butler.”
“Um, yes. I am now,” Chris started. “Or, at least, I thought I was,” he added, looking askance at the kitchen.
“Oh, don't worry about Jess,” Hannah started. “She'll learn to let you take control soon…she'll just need some persuading first, that's all.”
“We don't have any milk.” Jess said sadly, coming out from the kitchen.
“I'll get some!” Hannah and Chris jumped up in unison.
“No, I will.” Hannah said, pushing the annoyed Chris back into his chair. “Your job it to keep Jess entertained.”
Chris looked over at Jess who was sulking and angrily pulling her hair out.
“Ok.” Chris said timidly, pulling out some slippers from a briefcase he had brought with him.
“Good boy.” Hannah patted him on the head and shut the door.
