Welcome to Chapter Seven! Jess's writing is in the black script whilst Hannah's is in dark blue.

Hannah emerged from the changing room 3 minutes later with 2 blue nurse's smocks. She pulled one over her head.
“3 minutes? I thought it'd take longer than that.” Said Jess.
“So did I.” Said Hannah, annoyed.
“Bloody hell.” Said Jess, pulling the smock on. “I guess they don't make male nurse's smocks for people with breasts.
Hannah cleared her throat. “Ok, where to?”
“Somewhere where nurses should be…” Jess thought for a while. “Just make sure you don't get caught up in treating anyone, ok? We don't want to have a serious murder on our hands.” Jess looked around – there were two female nurses approaching them, with frowns on their faces. “Let's split up, that way we'll find him quicker.”
Hannah ran off leaving Jess standing awaiting the nurses.
“I've been assigned to watch over Daniel Radcliffe, which ward is he I?” Jess asked.
“Why are you wearing a male nurse's outfit?” One of the nurses asked her.
“Um, I'm a man.” Blushed Jess.
“Ok, Andy.” One of them said sceptically. “He's in Bay 5. You'll need his medical chart.” She passed Jess a clipboard.
“Thanks.” Jess stumbled off, trying to breath without her chest expanding (one of the top buttons had already popped off). She searched through a few wards before finally finding Hannah in a bit of a palaver.
“Where's the scalpel? JESS! WHERE'S A SCALPEL!!!?” She shrieked.
Jess pulled her out of the operation theatre leaving the Doctor screaming:
“SCALPEL!! SCALPEL!!!!!”

“What is it? I was HELPING!” Hannah exclaimed.
“I've found him. He's in Bay 5 in the ward we started off on.”
“Oh.”
They ran back the way they'd come.
“Excuse me, nurse? I need my bedpan emptied.” An aging man called as they passed.
HA! You'd be lucky.” Snorted Hannah as they dashed through the room.
They finally found the ward and skidded into Bay 5.
Daniel was lying in a bed by the window, still unconscious. Or asleep. Or dead.
“Now what?!” Asked Hannah.
“We'll have to pretend to be tending to him so that we're here when he wakes up.”
Hannah fiddled with his oxygen mask. “DON'T tend to anything vital, Hannah. Don't forget that we haven't actually had medical training.
Hannah frowned and tucked in his bedsheets.
“Um…Andy and…Joe…” Said a nurse approaching them and reading their name badges doubtfully. “Could you give Old Fred his bedbath?”
They looked over to the other bed in the bay where an old man grinned at them toothlessly.
“Ugh.” Shuddered Jess.
“Give us a kiss!!” Croaked old Fred, pursing his lips together.
Jess shoved the soapy sponge she had been handed by the nurse into his face and scrubbed hard.
“I don't see why I should do his feet.” Hannah grimaced, delving between the in-growing toenails which were consequently why he was in hospital in the first place.
“What, you think his face is better?” Jess withdrew the sponge to reveal a spluttering Fred with a rather red nose.
Suddenly there was a gasp from Daniel's bed and Jess and Hannah turned to see Daniel struggling to sit up in horror.
“Daniel!”
“YOU!” He yelped. “And YOU!” He desperately tried to get the oxygen mask off and run away.
“We're your nurses.” Jess said, calmly. “I don't know why you're worrying so – maybe you had a bad unconscious dream about us smothering you with a duvet which is complete tosh.”
Daniel eyed them cautiously. “You mean you didn't do that. It was just a figment of my imaginations?”
“Yes…” Hannah caught on, resisting the motherly urges to kiss him on the top of his head and tuck him in again. “You were actually smothered by…”
“Um…” Jess looked at Hannah and shrugged.
“Damn you!” She hissed. “You're meant to be the creative mind behind this book!!” She looked back at Daniel who was shakily settling back down again. “A donkey!” She cried. “You were at the zoo when a chimp dived for a popcorn stall, knocking over a donkey, who subsequently fell on you.”
Suddenly the doors to Bay 5 swung open and 5 policemen walked in.
“Good to see you're awake Daniel,” One of them took off his hat. “My name is Sergeant Peters and I'll be asking you questions about how you came to be held hostage and eventually smothered with a duvet.”
“Fred, you need another bath?” Hannah started to run to the other side of the Bay.
