
To be able to measure your progress in an honest and open manner requires that you accept the positive and negative feedback from our trainers. No one is perfect and you can always improve. Indeed, this applies to our trainers as well. If you have specific feedback for them, tell them.
To train in this manner requires personal knowledge about who you are as a person. Our trainers will conduct a detailed interview with you during your initial signup. The process usually takes about an hour and is to build a relationship with you so they understand your personal goals and life situation. The process is informal and they have no forms or targeted questions to ask you other then to understand you. Feel free to ask them any questions you have. Our instructors even meet off prem if you have a favorite place for a coffee or beer.
Remember that the feedback they provide is constructive suggestions for improvement. It is an objective measurement of where you are or how you are progressing based upon the goals you identify. If the goals need to be adjusted, then discuss it with them. Bidirectional communication is important. If you feel that the relationship with your instructor is not productive, please tough out one more session. Remember they are human also and have bad days just like everyone else.
