Strategic planning/management on the other hand is the management
of the process of strategic decision-making. It concerns with the
deciding on strategy and planning, how that strategy to be put into
effect. Strategic management process provides the thinking, analyzing,
planning and implementation of the strategic decisions to keep the
organiszations in tact. Strategic management can be divided into three
main elements i.e. strategic analysis, strategic choice and strategic
implementation.
