| If
you are playing on the Hard level then starting off will be one of the most difficult
parts. You are given 20 points to play with when you begin the game, and it is important
that you use these wisely. When you first begin you will find it hard to even get out of
your own half let alone score goals so I would recommend keeping a fairly defensive
formation and not to push too many men forward at a time. Its important to buy a good and
preferably fast forward when you begin the season, I would get Semau
from the Cameroon team (18 points). He is very quick, and good in the air so you can lump
the ball up to him and he will relieve a lot of the pressure. Another tip is to waist time
when ever possible. If you are playing on the hard level a draw might not be a bad result
when you are starting off, so let your goal keeper take his time and get up the clock. The majority of the players that you are given at the beginning of the
game are not a lot of good, but a few can be of use. Lawson is probably your best forward,
Pavia is good at passing, and Jano is a good defender. In your subs you will find Satta.
He is a quick defender and would do a better job than Otto. Also you will find a
midfielder called Stella, who is fairly quick and can be used instead of Hrusak.
As you gain points you will want to again bluster your
attack. If you can afford him I would recommend Amikachi from Nigeria. He is very quick
and good in all areas. Again if you are playing on the hard level you will receive 2
points for every goal that you score more than an opponent, so goals are a good way of
getting a lot of points quick.
Your Defence and goalkeeper will hold up OK until you can
afford to buy new ones, so don't worry about them for a while.
Now try and get yourself a couple of decent midfielders.
D.Stankovic is good at 24 points. You can see more recommended players by looking at the
Master League Buyers Guide.
Now I would buy one very good defender, and a good
goalkeeper. Defensive players tend to be fairly cheep, and so you shouldnt have too
much trouble finding the players you need. As long as Centre backs have an OK speed value
and are either tall or have a good jump power then they will usually do the job.
Once you have got the basics of your team winning matches
shouldnt be a problem, and the points should come rolling in for you to spend
however you want. |
