Fantasy
Football involves selecting and managing your own squad of players. These players are
awarded points based on their performances in real games. You then compete in a league
against other Fantasy Football managers.
Team Management
Each manager enters one squad which must consist
of:
2 x Goalkeepers
6 x Defenders
6 x Midfielders
4 x Strikers
Each player has a value. The total value of your
squad must not exceed 80 million Euros.
From your 18 player squad you select 11 players
to form your team. Only selected squad (i.e. team) players contribute points. You can
change your team from within your squad as many times as you like.
Your team can play in one of the following
formations:

During Euro 2000, the fantasy game players will
be allocated a point score after each game, based on their performances in the Euro 2000
matches. The site will be updated after the first, second and third round group matches,
the quarter finals, the semi finals and the final (6 updates).
Extra time counts if played, penalty shoot-outs
do not.

Captains
You must nominate a member of your squad to be
the team captain. Your team captain will score double points. The captain can be changed
at any time during Euro 2000.
Transfers
You can still wheel and deal in the transfer
market after you have selected your squad. Unlimited Squad transfers can be made. However
these come at a cost of one point after Euro 2000 has started. Before Euro 2000 starts,
transfers are free of charge.
After you make a transfer, your new signing will
join your squad, and if you want him to play it may be necessary to alter your team
selection.
A new player's cumulative points will be those
scored by the old player before being transferred, plus those scored by the new player
from the next series of games.
