All it takes to become a Muslim
is to pronounce the Syahadah:
I witness that there is no God but Allah,
and I witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
Or you could say that in Arabic too:
Ash-hadu-allaa-ilaaha-illAllah
wa-ash-hadu-anna-Muhammadar-Rasulullah
