Nathan Brown is a versatile player who can play almost every position there is. Generally though, he plays on the wing, half back flank or as a forward.

He had an excellent season in 2000, coming 2nd in the Best and Fairest, and narrowly missing All Australian selection. His best game for the year was probably against Adelaide when he kicked 6 goals, 4 of them in the first quarter.

The Bulldogs first pick in the 1996 draft (10th overall) came to the club at the beginning of a new era out west. The club has just had a name change, a new administration and a coach about to begin his first full season.

He is a highly skilled left footer who has just kept on improving. Early on, he was in and out of the senior team mainly due to inconsistency. Now, he's a regular player and part of the 'core' of the team.
