Tony Liberatore is the heart and soul of the Western Bulldogs. Libba, as he is well known, began his career at North Melbourne in the reserves before heading off to the Western Bulldogs (the then Footscray FC).

He has been criticised for his 'in ya face' tagging tactics by some in the media but is well respected by opposition players as one of the games toughest oponents.

He may be the smallest player in the AFL (at 163cm) but his courage and determination have seen him play 250 games and win the highest individual award - the Brownlow medal.

The main thing people associate with Libba is his legendary tackling, He has led the tackle count for the entire competition for most of the seasons he's played in. He is a true team player, often sacrificing his own game for the team.

It is not hard to see why Libba is one of the most loved players by Bulldogs supporters ever.
