He showed last year that he has the ability to turn the course of a game. Notably, during the last quarter of the round 15 clash against Adelaide last year. The Bulldogs were 40 points down at 3 quarter time and his performance in the last quarter went a long way towards the Bulldogs winning the game.
Unfortunatly, Luke suffered a set back in season 2000 with a knee injury, which saw him miss the last 6 home and away games.
The good news is that he recently signed a 3 year deal with the club which will see him a Bulldog until at least the end of 2003.
