Welcome to the FAQ page for Advance. Here you will find common questions and their answers. =) It would be wise for new members to read through this as it explains most of what you need to know.

Can I please be placed onto a team now?
(You will be placed onto a team once you have posted fifteen messages, provided the time of day.)

Can I be on a different team/pick my team?
(Unfortunately you cannot do either of the two. You will be placed onto a team in an order that evens all of the teams out. You also cannot switch teams at any time. Nobody will be given their choice of team for any reason. Chin up, though! You'll be in a new house next month. =D)

If I leave the guild, and re-join, what happens?
Chances are by the time you re-join the guild all of your information will have been deleted. (We do this to keep accurate information on all guild members.) Your Team Points that you've earned will stay with the house that you earned them in, and they will not be transfered to a new house. If you're put back into the same house, your information will still be deleted, but your team points will still be there.

What does the winning team get?
(The winning team will receive their own private party complete with tons of games, prizes, and giveaways! They will also receive a customized trophy made for their userlookup, and an award made for their Guild Profile Page. The leader of the winning team will also have their choice of house for the following month. There will also be three free raffles that they will be entered in, the prizes for them are as follows: 100,000NP, set of codestones, and one winter package!)

What council do I apply for?
(You should apply for the team leader of the house that you're currently in. If council is open, click "Apply for Position" in any of the spots, then use the drop down menu to find what house you're in.)

What do team leaders do?
(Team Leaders are your support in our guild. They are responsible for making sure that your team is working together, supporting each other, and generally helping you all out. =) House Leaders are in charge of creating their own House Page, and keeping it updated at all times. Team Leaders also have a chit-chat spot on the layout to keep updated. Team Leaders are also Board Monitors.)

How many times can I be a Team Leader?
(You can be a team leader any amount of times you would like - but you cannot be a team leader twice in a row.)

Are there requirements for Team Leader?
(The only requirement for being a Team Leader is that you have been in the guild for at least one week. When submitting your application, keep in mind that it is more likely to be accepted if it is at least semi-literate and tells us a little bit about yourself, why you want the position, how you could help your team, etc. We'd also appreciate it if you could send us a draft "Team Page" as each Team Leader is in charge of keeping one up to date.)

How do I earn Team Points?
(Browse around the website to find ways to each Team Points. Activities, Kadoatery, Employment Agency, Daily Quest, Donating, etc, are all ways to earn House Points! The Meditating Nimmo also gives out TP randomly!)

How do I win the Daily Giveaway?
(Each day it goes to a random, active member!)

Help! I applied for the wrong team leader.
(Don't worry. All applications that have been applied for under the wrong team are just simply deleted when I see them. Wait awhile, and try again.)

What's with all this monthly talk?
(Each month everything changes - House Leaders change, points are re-set, everybody goes into a new house, monthly bash is going on, etc. This is to give everybody a fair chance at anything!)
