1b. Berkeley Kite Festival |
|
Website: http://www.highlinekites.com/Berkeley_Kite_Festival/ This event was a photographer's dream. There were lots of big colorful kites and a clear blue sky. The filmcam and the digicam worked equally well for the giant kites flown at low altitude. I wish I had used the filmcam and the big zoom lens to photograph more of the medium and small kites flown at higher altitudes. |

1. Movie. Here is a short movie taken at the kite festival with my Stylus 300 digicam. File size = 4 MB. Click here to download the movie to your harddrive. You need to have Quicktime software installed on your computer to view the movie after it is downloaded onto your harddrive. |
Its not a great movie, but it does illustrate how a movie can convey more of the event than a still picture can. This shows the maximum length and maximum quality of movie that my digicam can produce. If you are serious about movies you need to buy a movie camera, but these little movie clips may sometimes be useful. |
