09.06.2003: I just wanted to thank everyone for all the Happy Birthday messages! I had a really great birthday. I just got back from dinner with my family and Aaron and friends...it was really sweet. Thank you Debbie (Calling Mom) and all who contributed to the money that went to Cedars in my Grandfather's name! That was so cool! Also thanks to all who sent a birthday message for me in that great book that Debbie made. It really made my day even better to read through all that! I heard "Why Don't You and I" on a local radio station here in LA called Kiss today. It was nice to hear a song played on the radio other than Wherever You Will Go. So, it's time for everyone to start attacking their local radio stations! I know I will:) I can't wait for you all to see the video soon! Thanks again for the Birthday messages and just for making today really special. I love you all!

03.06.2003: I just wanted to let you all know that the video shoot is going amazingly and tomorrow is our last day of shooting here in San Francisco. I can barely stand up after today because I was in this full body metal harness thing flying around on cables 50 feet in the air since 5 in the morning! It was really scary and painful (especially in the "manly" regions) since the harness raps around inbetween your legs :( Anyway, the vid is going to look super cool. Santana and I were rockin out all day in the middle of a big park here with thousands of hippies and some fans as well. I'm going to bed now cause I'm destroyed and I got to do it all again tomorrow. Oh, for those of you wondering why radio stations are starting to play the song before you guys got to hear it I'm sorry about that...see, it's not a "Calling" song or project so I have no power over any of it when it comes to that stuff. As soon as I can give it to you guys I will! I promise! Well, all the love and I'll check in again soon!

25.05.2003: Hey guys!!! I'm sorry I haven't posted anything in a while but Aaron and I have been really busy writing and making demos of all our new songs, since we're getting really close to starting to record the new record.There's one in particular that we just finished today that I was like, Holy shit, this is a good song if I do say so myself:) Maybe the first single? Anyway, I wanted to tell you guys how Wango Tango went with Santana! It was so exciting to be on stage with him even though it was only for like three minutes and thirty seven seconds:) We had rehearsed a bit the day before since we have a bunch of TV appearances coming up, not just Wango Tango (I know you guys already know about Good Morning America in NY, cool huh!?!?) He is the nicest most down to earth guy I've ever met. When we got off stage, he gave me roses to thank me for doing this with him, I was like, "No! Thank you fool!"...Well, I didn't say 'fool' but you get the point:) So we're shooting a video for the song the first week of June in San Francisco right in the middle of the city. I can't give away what it's about, but I can tell you that it has a way bigger budget than our videos (duh) and I will be doing a lot of flying;) That's right, flying through the city (and I thought standing on a roof of a house in our first video was scary enough!). I've got some good news for all you fans outside of America...the single IS getting released EVERYWHERE (even the countries where Chad's version already came out in) shortly after it's release here mid June! So you all will hopefully be getting a chance to hear it on the radio and see the video on TV soon! So, that's about all for now. P.S. I just wanted to let all you Brazilian fans know that WE ARE doing a tour through Brazil starting the second week of August but I don't know any particulars yet. I promise to let you guys know all the details as soon as I find out. I can't wait!

01.05.2003: Don't worry, no more riddles;) I just wanted to give you guys a little update on what going on since I haven't been writing tour diaries since well, were not on tour. Anyway, the songs for the new record are coming along great and I'm super excited to get in there and record (some day hopefully this century). Regarding the Santana thing which I know a lot of you have been asking about I can't say too much...but I do know that the single will be coming out next month (it's May now, weird). I'll be doing a bunch of TV performances with him, some of which I'm starting to find out about like Good Morning America in New York (in June) and possibly some live concert performances locally as well. As usual I'm guessing the fate of the song's release overseas is dependant upon it's success in America, but we all have pretty high hopes for this one since Chad Kroeger is a hit making machine. 03. The music style will still the same on the next album? Yes, but I would say we're are going to be a little more daring on this one and do more of what we want since we will be producing it.

04. Have you ever though about giving up to sing? Why? No way. 05. What body's part do you like to be cherished? Well, I know it's lame to say but it it's true. the mind. what can all the other parts do without it?

06. Which was the unforgettable moment of your life? There have been many recently, good and bad, since our record came out, but a great moment that I will never forget was when we won the MTV Europe award. I was so shocked!

12.04.2003: Hey guys! I just wanted to let you all know that I am not sending anyone a virus. I will never send any of you anything (except letters) to download, so please DO NOT download files that you get from my E-mail address. Hackers get into people's online address books and send everyone that has ever sent an Email or received an email from he or she a virus...if that makes sense. I don't understand why they do it, but it definitely sucks big time. I keep getting fan mail from people saying, "Why did you send me a virus, you are an asshole...." etc. :( So, just wanted to give you guys a heads up. All is going good over here in writing land. I just got back from Canada where I worked on something top secret that's super cool...but I can't tell you guys yet. I promise you'll find out before anyone else does though. It's very exciting for me. Well, I hope everyone is doing good and just know that we're always thinking about you guys and can't wait to get this new music out. All the love..

04.2003: Unfortunately, "For You" did not perform well at US radio and is now on its way out. I just wanted to thank everyone for supporting the song, calling your local radio stations, voting for the video, etc. You all help out so much, but sometimes things just aren't meant to be. I really believed in the song and am proud of it no matter what. Other than that, all is going well and the writing for the record is very exciting and going great.
