| Copy and paste the following across to your nicklist of your script. Read them, and get to know them. These will answer a lot of the basic questions that you or others may have. .Help:/say Hello, do you need some help? .Register:/say To register a room - email [email protected] - include your name, your nickname, the names of the channels/rooms (2 maximum), the keys/passwords, modes, and any other settings you would like to have set. ONLY #rooms will be registered. Please list several room name choices as the one you have chosen may already be taken. It helps also to try to join your roomname first, to make sure it has not already been taken. .Return:/say Once the email is sent, you will receive notification via a return email when your channel has been registered. It is very busy right now, so it will take from 3-10 days for it to be completed. Please keep a copy of your verification email saying that the room has been registered to you. We require it for proof of ownership. .Nickserv:/say You cannot register a nickname, as there is no nickserv on the Oz servers. .Rooms:/say "It is hard enough now running the $chr(35) rooms without dealing with the $chr(37) $+ $chr(35) rooms. They don't show on regular scripts....plus they drop off thier +r and we are always going back and resetting them. They are a pain in the neck and we decided not to do them here." ONLY $chr(35) $+ channels can be registered, they do NOT register $chr(37) $+ $chr(35) $+ channels. .Kick/Ban:/say $chr(37) $+ $chr(35) $+ rooms are non-registered. That means the 1st person in such a room is the owner. The sysops do NOT assist you in getting those channels back if you get deopped or kicked from them. .Admin:/say There are 4 Administrators of this server - BeenY, Willo, d0c, and Tony. I do not set the rooms up, only admins do that. If there is a problem with the room set up, only they can fix it. .HelpRoom:/say This room is for the purpose of answering questions concerning the server and its operations/availabilities, etc. It is NOT a chatroom or a script help room. To find those things, type /list. .Sysops:/say If you wish to become a Sysop, send an email to the server Admins at [email protected]. Tell them about yourself and why you would be a good choice for the position. ONLY Admins decide who become Sysops. .Reset:/say If you want a room reset, Sysops can do that. They will NOT give anyone +q. The default key will be restored, and the registered owner of the channel can cycle with it for +q. Keep in mind, they do NOT reset $chr(37) $+ $chr(35) rooms. .Clones:/say You are welcome to use a bot in your OWN registered channel. However, if they "stray", YOU will be held accountable. Clones are not permitted.
