At August Boeger Middle School, I am also the coach of three different sports teams. Last year I was the head coach of the girls' basketball team (7th graders), the boys' basketball team (8th graders), and the boys' soccer team (7th and 8th graders). Last year our boys' soccer team had one of the most successful seasons in school history, reaching the semi-finals of the county championship tournament. In coaching sports I also stress that all of the students on my teams understand the importance of being true "Student Athletes." .
When I'm not at school, I love to make the most of my free time by playing sports, spending time with my family, and going to the movies. I spent this past summer taking postgraduate classes at The National Hispanic University in order to better my own education and teaching practices.
I love teaching and being part of a wonderful school at August Boeger. I plan to continue teaching and dedicating a great deal of my life towards educating today's youth.
