| Whatever the Mad Monk does he encounters some persecution that puts paid to his efforts. Alleged council officials mistakenly take possession of the Mad Monk's house on account of confusion arising from an alleged Compulsory Purchase Order and, in response to his protest, the alleged council lawyer, the Alleged Bullying Liar, refuses compensation and engages in an alleged vendetta against the Accused during which he allegedly perpertrates all manner of mischievous stratagems over ten years in the lawcourts. Lots more adventures in these pages. In newer versions of the Memoirs Volume 9 has been split into A and B, though in some variants of this the chapters of 9B commence with 'Chapter l' and in others they carry on with numbers following those in 9A. |
