I consider Walt Disney World to be my "home" Disney park cause I've been to it more times than Disneyland.  After the bad build-up around Disneyland, Walt decided to build a brand new park.  So, he secertly flew over Florida to find the right piee of land to buy...and found it in Orlando, FL.

The 1st park to open in the Walt Disney World Resort area was Magic Kingdom in 1971, and it's probably the best one out of the four theme parks there.  Sadly, Walt died in 1966 and didn't get his dream vision come to life in person.  I believe if Walt had live to see the opening of Magic Kingdom, he would of been thrilled and happy.

The 2nd park that was built and opened in 1982 was EPCOT (then known as E.P.C.O.T. Center).  I'm guessing the idea behind this park was to being ideas of the future and life...along with the human body to life.  The other part of EPCOT is its World Showcase that's on the other side of the lagoon that shows attractions from 10 different nations around the world including the US.

The 3rd to open at Walt Disney World was Disney-MGM Studios in 1989.  This park brings out the "movie goer" in people (wonder why!?!).  Considering most of the attractions are themed to either Disney movies or just big-name movies (Indiana Jones and Star Wars).  The only ride in the park not themed to a movie is the new attraction; Rock 'n' Rollercoaster starting Aerosmith.

The latest park and newest one is Disney's Animal Kingdom which opened in 1998.  The park was built to be a wild life conservation, with a bunch of shows and attractions thrown into it.
