Irish – Lead Vocals/Guitar

Being brought up in the town of Galway, Ireland, he came to Burlington in search of what is now known as ‘Insomniac’s Dream.’ With the anticipation of making amazing music with the rest of the "Dream" boys, nothing but gold is produced. Irish’s inspiration for writing lyrics is endless.

"There are just too many good bands out there with amazing talent" says Irish in an interview, "It’s hard to put a label on what bands inspire me the most because each band has something new and inventive to add."

Irish joined the band in the summer of 2003 when they were formally known as "Good Enough." Irish feels that the band grows stronger as friends and more musically talented every day.

Chris – Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals

Chris lives for music. Although he is somewhat of a perfectionist, he always has to go that extra distance with guitar. If there is room for improvement, he will improve and then some more.

Chris picked up a dusty guitar, which was lying in his basement when he was 13 years old. He learned from scratch and has accomplished what he set out to do. "For me, music is about making people think." He then goes on to say, "If you listen to our music and don’t ponder, then our music has lost all meaning…Either that, or you have no feelings."

With such musical inspirations as the Edge (U2), Chris continues to rip-roar his guitar style with emotions and distortions…

John – Drums

Hidden behind a set of Westburry skins, this drumming prodigy began his percussion career at the tender age of 11. Although he resembles the late, great Roger Daltrey (The Who?), Insomniac’s Dream is not all about ‘Teenage Wasteland.’

John made his way into the band through mutual friends. Although John is the quiet and silent type, his drum set would have to disagree. From soft taps to all-out rocking out on the drums, John is the metronome of the band.

When asked "What was the purpose of changing your name from ‘Mourning Dawns’ to ‘Insomniac’s Dream’?" he replied, "A lot of stuff has happened with this band over the past little while and we just feel that with this change that has occurred, we needed a new look to go with our sound."

John is the back-bone of Insomniac’s Dream and keeps the other members on their toes. John’s worst fear is the idea that one day, drum machines will become a ‘must’ for every band and he will become the official Insomniac’s Dream roadie.

Ken – Bass

Kendall is the heart and soul of Insomniac’s Dream. His booming bass lines blast through with magnificent harmonization and give the band that extra kick.

Although Ken only started playing bass in 2002 after joining a music class, he has been a good friend with the guitarist, Chris, since they were 6 years old. "Insomniac’s Dream isn’t just about good looks and amazing music…" begins to laugh, "We’re all good friends and everybody adds their own personality to the band, making us…Some form of super band."

Ken’s sense of humor seems to keep the Insomniac’s Dream’s spirit alive even on the darkest of days. He has a friendly, soft-hearted personality, but once he has a grasp on the bass, he uses it to speak from his soul…
