I began arranging and laying metronome tracks three weeks ago. I recorded several keyboard tracks and programed all of our loops on my laptop while vacationing in Flordia and working at Super Summer Mississippi. We are now in the the process of recording drum tracks. Aaron has finished laying the performances and Jim is now in the process of editing the multiple takes into one single performance. You may have seen this "Jim" guy's picture around the site. Jim is our close friend and owner of Brown Town Recording Studio. He has agreed to Co-Produce and mix the I-55 album. We are so excited, I'll keep you posted on all the progress in the mean time check out some of the Hattiesburg pictures
(on the picture link) from the studio last weekend.

Pro Tools has been ordered and major tracking will begin
this summer. This project will be be very complex and take
many months to complete but we're up to the task and excited.
Some tracking will be layed in Hattisburg at Jim's studio and the
bulk will be layed here in Southaven at our new studio, "Camp 55" sweet!!! Work on our studio is still being done so we'll lay click tracks in late April, early May and track drums early summer with
"Jim the Great" I'll keep you posted as much as possible. In the mean time come see us live sometime.

Well the work is slow but we're making progress. Aaron and I have been doing some arrangments and choosing songs for the album now for the past 3 months. We layed a few scratch tracks down to get some ideas and decided to talk to long time friend Jim Barnes about mixing the album for us. He has agreed and I am now in the process of switching my studio over to the infamous pro-tools software.

I know many of you are interested in the album. I will use this link to keep you updated as much as possible. As of now I'm currently picking songs and laying down something we call "click tracks", a basic metronome to help us keep time while recording. I do not want to release any information on songs at this time however, Josh Brister has given us permission to record "So I'll Sing" and I figure we'll record "Oh For A Thousand Tounges", updates will follow
