Tyke is a new feature LionHead have incorporated into the new add-on for Black & White.  He is another creature which is not under your control but rather your creature controls him.  Though your creature doesn't control him in the way you control yours he does teach him show him skills and so forth.  He has no direct control over Tyke but he and yourself influence his behavior in the environment around him.

Not that much is known about Tyke but new stories are popping up all the time, you can teach him skills and miracles as well as your creature doing so but you need to train him to do the things you want and not what he wants.

Some notes about Tyke are stated below:

Tyke will need attention from your creature or he will get mad and attack your temple if your creature is sleeping as that is a usual thing he does if not trained well but this action will be grown out of in time. You can teach Tyke miracles like you would your own creature and this also applies for skills too as he will watch both of you carefully for guidance. Tyke grows at a slow rate which seems to be increased with sleeping but the trick of sleeping in the pen seems not to have any affect on the growth rate of tyke. Tyke starts off a good fighter so you don't have to teach him, this could be the fact of that he has watched your creature a lot when fighting and picked up skills there.
