The Epic of Dalen Grey

I woke up in the morning and I noticed paper on my chest. It was a scroll. I unrolled it to read the contents. They seemed like instructions. A few lines stood out to me.

"....(direction)....here you will find at the back of an old house two very small levers that seem strangely out of place. Pull the lever on the left for a meeting at dawn and the lever on the right for a meeting at dusk. The meeting will resume the next day. To find meeting place you must follow....(directions)....You need to follow the path exactly or you risk either being lost or losing any chance at a meeting at all."

"If we wish to meet with you, a young girl will signal you at the Midnight Moon. It is important that you do not discuss the signal or anything else between up with her. If she wears blacks shoes with the purple earrings, we shall meet in the same spot as last time at dusk. If she wears black earrings with white shoes, we shall meet after sunset in the underground cave located....(directions)....I wish to avoid any unneeded attention, as would you so I suggest keeping the signals minimal."

I was curious as to the attention to the details, but I know if I want there help, I would need to follow their rules for the moment. There was more to the letter that was of note to me.

"Your next mission involves a house on the edge of the merchant district. Its a warehouse for stolen goods waiting to be shipped out of town. Its small and protected by two guards outside and two inside, one of which has little fighting skill. I can't be certain of how many theives will be pressent however. We suspect though that the day after tomorrow late that night will be the best timing. I need the place shut down, like it never exsisted. You do what you do best, we will clean up after you."

I waited out the night to contemplate the mission. The day wents smoothly. I had to slug one out of control drunk. One hit and he dropped, I felt so unchallenged. It may be less rowdy, but they ones that are can't even get me any practice. I guess its money and I need what I can. In two days, I await a real fight.

I wanted to find Krin Tao Lin, of find someone that could locate him. But I didn't know where to start. I didn't know who to ask. I will have to find another contact, I'm not sure I trust Delvori completely. I will look into it if I find time in the next few days. But now I must rest if I am to be prepared for my battle tomorrow night.
