If only I had paid attention.
I did not know it then but you were what I was looking for.
After all that, I still could not see the opportunity that was
staring me in the face.
To know now I was so close is killing me
I have been so lonely without you.
It hurts to miss you now,
I would have found in you
Somebody that I could have given my heart;
If only I had taken the time.
It cuts so deep to have had you there
Never knowing you could have stayed in my life

I am sorry I missed you and all that we could have been
