How does the inkjet cartridge refilling service work?

1- Purchase a inkjet cartridge refilling mailer from Ink on the Net. Single refilling envelopes are priced at $15.99 and allow you to recycle both black and color cartridges. Just locate the products for your printer type to see if we offer a mailer for your cartridges. Make sure to purchase your mailer today so you are prepared when your cartridge runs out of ink.

2- When your existing cartridge is empty, place it in the mailer, complete the return address label, and put it in the mail. No postage is necessary.

3- When your cartridge is received at the refilling warehouse it is professionally cleaned and refilled with the finest quality ink. The cartridge is then print tested, sealed in a protective bag, and then shipped back to within 48 hours.

4- You receive your recycled cartridge in the mail and use it, again, until it runs out of ink and you are ready to recycle again.

How long will it take to get my recycled cartridge back?

Please allow 10-15 business days for the entire process to take place. Cartridges are recycled in Denver, Colorado. The location you are sending from may have an effect on the amount of time it takes the mailer to get to and from the facility.

What do I do if my cartridge is leaking when I receive it?

Changes in air pressure during shipping can cause small amounts of ink to leak from the cartridge into the protective bag that holds it. This does not harm the cartridge and it does not mean that the cartridge will leak in use. If this happens to you, just dampen a paper towel with water and clean the cartridge before placing it into your printer.

To prolong the life of the cartridge after you receive it back from Jetpak keep it in the sealed bag until you are ready to use it. Keeping the cartridge in the bag will prevent exposure to air that will dry the ink in the cartridge. If you do remove it from the sealed bag before using, make sure to store it in a zip lock bag.

What if my cartridge is deemed unserviceable because is does not pass their quality test?

Not all cartridges are serviceable. Some are often worn out, as all inkjet cartridges eventually wear out. Each cartridge is cleaned, filled and print tested. If a cartridge does not pass the print tests it is deemed unserviceable. Neither Ink on the Net nor Jetpak will replace the cartridge or provide a refund. Jetpak will send you a certificate to recycle another cartridge at no charge. This certificate can be used to place an additional cartridge in a future mailer.

What warranty is provided on the recycled cartridge?

Inkjet refilling refilling envelopes are warranted by Ink on the Net. Each remanufactured cartridge is covered by a 180 day warranty. The warranty begins as soon as your cartridge is received. If your cartridge develops printing problems or stops working during the warranty period, immediately contact Ink on the Net for a replacement mailer. An attempt will be made to fix the defective cartridge; if the cartridge cannot be fixed, the customer will receive a certificate to recycle another cartridge at no charge. Certificates may be used to send an "extra" cartridge in any future mailer. IMPORTANT: Ink on the Net does not provide any additional warranty to the refilling service, and will not replace any defective cartridge that has been recycled by them.

Can refilling refilling envelopes be returned?

Ink on the Net does not accept opened refilling envelopes, used refilling envelopes, or certificates of return refilling envelopes for unserviceable cartridges as returns. refilling envelopes are not returnable if they are not returned in the condition they were received (i.e., plastic is torn open). We do accept unused refilling envelopes as returns.

The following apply to mailer recycled cartridges

(1) Remanufactured or compatible cartridges from other companies cannot be sent for refilling. Only OEM brand cartridges, and cartridges previously recycled by this service, can be used.

(2) Each mailer purchase is good for one cartridge use only.

(3) Ink on the Net does not accept recycled cartridges, opened refilling envelopes, used refilling envelopes, or certificates of return refilling envelopes for unserviceable cartridges as returns.
