| My first school was in the 'Altstadt' next to the 'Pfarr Kirche' St. Jakob. The name of the school today is "Hans Stethaimer Schule". My first teacher was a young lady M. Kilian How do I remember? I still have a letter she wrote to me in 1950. |

| Now to my life in Burghausen. We lived there for only 6 years. My mother thought that there would be more opportunity in the big city, also she missed her sister who lived in Offenbach am Main, in Hessen. Burghausen was just a bit too 'country' for my poor Mum.[I wish she would have waited for a few years] My father was quite happy in Burghausen, he had a good job at the "Wacker Werke" as a plumber. |
