Objective

To secure a position as an information architect, utilizing my extensive skills in digital media, user experience design, navigation research, interaction design, editing and prototyping. Focus is the information artefact with an optional usability and rich content supported by media specific attributes for new interactive and adaptive digital media.

Experience

I began building web sites in 1996. My role included web site development, information architecture, interface design, usability testing, heuristic evaluation, task scenario and Internet strategy.
I also work with web developers to create corporate products witch focus on automation, market place, e-commerce - driving content, branding, and web site usability. I manage projects in publishing editing companies, car industries, consumer products and application services.

My experience in user interface design began during my work as art director for an IT Consulting Company, with a portfolio such as State of São Paulo Govern, Canadian Consulate, Editora Abril...

During my work as Information Architect at Unesp (State of São Paulo University), I developed information architecture and user interface design services, scripting and maintenance of web-based applications for Internet and Intranet products.

I began my usability studies at UOL- Universo Online as Web producer of the e-commerce department area. Responsible for conceptual project, user interface prototyping, information architecture and user-centred design, my typical activities included site profiling/planning, content analysis, delivering information architecture documentation and wire frames, graphic design, JavaScript, HTML, CSS -SSI and integrating sites with database back end (ASP). Projects focus on e-commerce, B2B and Web strategy.

My current job is at Telefônica do Brasil as Web Corporate Architect and Usability Practioner. Responsible for conceptual development, user & task analysis and information architecture. The activities include evaluation and interface design of web applications and web sites, visual design, usability testing and interface quality (IQ) tests.
Web Application Analysis and Design and then constructed a new conceptual model for the application.
User Experience (UE) working with the prototype development, product reports, context analisys, marketing, and strategy to create User Centered Web based Applications that are a pleasure to use.

Skills

7 years experience managing web sites, information architecture and user interface research (helping to define the user model and user interface).
Large experience with demonstrated abilities in visual communication and web design.
Strong portfolio with broad range of work from consumer e-commerce sites to application interfaces.
Technical programming (Html, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS) and knowledgeable on Web technologies - both existing and emerging - in order to lead technical discussions and communicate with technical staff.
Rapid Prototyping, conducting paper and HTML user testing and present usability audits.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written. And ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
