Here after referred to as the puppy.
1. The breeder will hold the puppy until the date of ___________________. and guarantees this exact puppy will not be sold to anyone else.
2. The buyer will pay the amount of $______________ as a deposit and $_______________ at pickup to transfer ownership of this puppy from the breeder to the buyer. If the puppy is to be shipped, the final payment MUST be received no later than 4 banking days prior to the shipping date.
3. If the buyer for any reason decides not to honor the purchase agreement, the deposit is NOT refundable, but can be held and transferred to another puppy from this litter as available, or a future litter. Notification of deposit transfer must be received two weeks prior to the date in #1 above or the breeder retains the right to refuse deposit transfer and the buyer will forfeit their deposit.
4. If the puppy is not picked up by the date in #1 above, a fee of $5 per day will be assessed, to be paid with the pickup balance.
5. If the puppy is not picked up by two weeks past the date in #1, this contract is void and the buyer receives no refund or transfer of deposit unless advance deposit transfer arrangements have been made.
6. If for any reason the breeder can not make the puppy available on the date in #1 above (example if puppy gets sick, passes, etc...), any money received from the buyer will be refunded to the buyer or the buyer can opt to have the deposit placed on another puppy.
7. All deposits shall be paid in the form of cash, a postal money order, bank certified cashiers check (as long as cashiers checks and money orders have time to clear the bank - 14 days), or paypal (paypal buyers add 3%)
8. The remaining balance of the contract shall be paid for by cash or paypal (add 3%). No cashiers checks or postal money orders on final payment unless there is at least 14 days prior to shipping or pickup.
I agree to all of the above and understand this is legally binding and I must adhere to the terms above.
