Monday: Little done. Coffee break, tested foils: they work, but the cheaper version requires more than 220 V to reach a temperature beyond 35 ° C. Broke a light bulb and a fuse, and toasted our Fluke meter, which miraculously did not break. Invented the G&P Burger WarmerÓ . Lunch with Whoppers and the other pale project students.

Tuesday: Peter at work (for the last time!), Gregers at home

Wednesday: Did something in the morning, besides sipping coffee. Watched Wilson Kipketer almost win the olympic 800 m dash for glory. Read statistics in the afternoon. Watched Taxi 2 in the evening.

Thursday: Read statistics in the morning, and had the lecture. Lunch. Continued reading, this time focusing on the report by Beier & Knuszen (?). Made a diagram for the electric systems of the prototype. Attended a lecture given by Sir Roger (Penrose). Voted yes to the euro, but in vain.

Yan moves across the corridor to less space, but better company, in room 10. In moves another Jan, a Master student from Aalborg living in Malmö at a rent of kr. 3000 pr. month.

Friday: Gregers lectured at the festival of natural sciences. The PR Electronics regulator arrived AT LAST. Centre-breakfast. Meeting with Jørn. Schedule changed again. Expectations lowered. Talk of perhaps only using 3 conditions. Will reduce time-usage and cost – and our benefit from the project.

All the important parts for the prototype are available, which in principle enables us to start construction next week. Fingers crossed.

Installed SAS on computers.

Talked to Thomas about the assumptions for the tests, and the experiences with the different tests so far.
