Welcome to the Indlovu Adventure Student Program.
This program is situated on The Garden Route Game Lodge in the
Western Cape.

The Garden Route Game Lodge was started in 1999 with the vision
to rehabilitate old farmland to its natural state.

The reserve lies next to the majestic Langeberg mountains in the
Renosterveld and Fynbos Biome. The Fynbos Biome host over 3000
plant species which also results to a large number of bird species.

This Game lodge boasts the Big 5 (Lion, Rhino, Elephant, Buffallo &
roaming Leopard). Some other animals include Cheetah, Giraffe,
Bontebok, Zebra, Eland, Kudu, Red Hartebeest, Springbuck, Impala,
Bushbuck, and a range of smaller mammals.

On the property we have a Cheetah Breeding facility.
Our recent project, Project Umluwi, was releasing 2 male Cheetah
into the main reserve.
This is a very successful and ongoing project of monitoring and
research.

We also house several species of reptiles at the reptile park.
Some of these include Crocodiles, Tortoises, as well as several snake
species, including Black Mamba, Cape Cobra, Puff Adder and
Boomslang to name but a few.
