ramble of the Vancouver indie music
scene both past and present. The drop-down

Most of the information and insight
illustrated here is my own retrospect
from the perspective of a former member
of a DIYindie
band (Funkyard)
and a co-founding member of Circus Maximus
Records which, among other undertakings,
operated the Phunky Toad and Magic Theater
after-hours venues for over a decade.
Those key factors were instrumental
(pun intended) to my understanding and
appreciation of the hard working artists
who call Vancouver home.
As with most of this
site, this page is undergoing reconcstruction,
and hence does not have all the intended
content at this time. Also , some of
the pages linked may not be online so
