With the outbreak of the Dead upon us the United States Military and the International Emergency Management Association have put together the following document. It is recommended that you memorize what you read here.
Depending on the severity of the bite the time to total infection is variable. It could be mere seconds, minutes, hours, and sometimes even days until the Turn occurs. Once you turn you will have succumbed to the infection and you will be one of the undead. There is no way to save you.
Immediately secure and gag anyone that has been bitten before he/she loses consciousness. Once the victim(s) reanimate they must be destroyed immediately before they can infect others. Should you become infected remember that you will be a hazard to everyone you care about and you must do what you think is best.
REMEMBER: A BITE IS A DEATH SENTENCE, THE FINAL DECISION ON WHAT TO DO IS YOURS.
