With the outbreak of the Dead upon us the United States Military and the International Emergency Management Association have put together the following document. It is recommended that you memorize what you read here.
Fire Ax - A powerful weapon but awkward to utilize to it's full extent, a fire ax can be used to chop off an enemies limbs or (if swung correctly) chop off their head.
Fists - A last resort weapon you can push one of the undead to the ground giving yourself a chance to escape.
Golf Club - Having an exceptionally long range for a melee weapon, the Golf Club can be swung quickly but it isn't very strong. It can knock down walkers though before they can attack.
Hammer - A common tool, the hammer can be used to rapidly pummel an enemy.
Katana - Essentially a large knife, a Katana is an easy to wield version of a sword.
Knife - The knife is a great last resort weapon for use against the walkers. If you are out of options you can attempt to jam this weapon through one of the weak points mentioned earlier to kill the walker once more. It isn't very effective for multiple enemies.
Lead Pipe - Capable of inflicting serious damage to any target, a Lead Pipe is a very good makeshift melee weapon.
Scalpel - A medical instrument, it can make an effective last ditch weapon if used on one of the weak points of the skull.
Shovel - A slow weapon, a shovel is primarily designed for lawn work but can be converted into weapon uses easily. It can be used as a swinging weapon or, if you have enough time, as a piercing one.
